About the Project

The Fair Support project was a pioneering effort to build stronger Fair Trade enterprises in India by enhancing their operational capacity, production efficiency, and ethical business frameworks. It enabled producer organizations to transition into sustainable business entities while preserving Fair Trade principles of transparency, equity, and community welfare.

Through training, mentoring, and improved access to markets, the project contributed to the professionalization of small enterprises and helped them gain visibility within domestic and international markets.

  • Provided intensive capacity-building to 250+ artisan groups, improving production quality and efficiency by 40%.

  • Strengthened Fair Trade networks, facilitating market expansion for 60+ micro-enterprises, resulting in a 35% increase in sales.
