Projects- Funder : UNESCO & Ministry of MSME&T, Government of West Bengal
- Duration : October 2022 – March 2023
- Theme : Preserving traditional crafts and strengthening artisan communities through cultural continuity

About the Project
The Living Heritage project was designed to safeguard West Bengal’s endangered craft traditions while empowering the artisans who sustain them. Through documentation, skill
transmission, and design adaptation, the project reconnected younger generations with their cultural heritage and integrated traditional practices into sustainable, ethical value
chains.
The initiative demonstrated how heritage can serve as both a cultural and economic resource when artisans are supported with modern tools, skills, and market access.
